My first Merpony

I've always admired beautiful Merpony customs but have never tried to make one myself... well I finally decided to give it a crack!
She was a rush job but I love her. I sculpted, baked and painted all in one afternoon/evening, then sealed her tail and styled her hair the next evening after work. I've only just put her on my custom shelf, I haven't even named her.  :blush:

I used a Peachy Pie for her pose and colours, plus the glitter looks great with the metallic paints I used, which were a mix of Gold, Bronze and Copper. I gave her some fake pearls and didn't bother repainting her eyes or rehairing.  :P

I made her a display base, real shells I collected as a child.   :biggrin:

You did an amazing job on your first merpony! The curve of the tail is very elegant, I love the third pic where she's looking at the camera over her shoulder. The shell was a great idea too, it matches her colours perfectly!

Wow, awesome job for your first merpony!  I've been wanting to do one, but just haven't gotten up the nerve yet.  Hope my first looks as beautiful as yours!  :)
