Twinkler variant?

I was just wondering if there is variant of Sparkle Pony Twinkler that is a brown-grey colour? I know there are differences between the store and mail order versions but I thought it was just whether they had a cheek symbol or not?

I had one that turned brown/gray over time, Sabrina. I'm pretty sure they both started out purple, but one of them turned an icky color. I traded her a while ago, so I'm not sure if she was the store or mail order version, maybe one is more prone to the change than others. I'll be watching this thread to see if other people had this happen, though.

I think, from previous discussions, that the general consensus is that she is discoloured.

Thanks Aurora and Sarah-Bee! That's what I thought but I thought I'd check just incase because I didn't realise Napper had different hair until recently.

Did you see one on ebay then? Just curious since I saw a "Rare Grey Twinkler Varient" on there with a BIN price of £19.99     

I believe the grey/brownness is caused by sun fade?

Yep that's what I saw. I was confused because her symbol looked different somehow. I don't know, I think the colour was just throwing me off. I like how the grey makes the purple of her hair pop though.

Yep, I had a Nightglider where the purple had faded to blue, and wow, did she look different! It's amazing how different one small change can make a pony look - look at alt. rehairs for instance!

That ebay pony has been floating around for quite some time now. As others have mentioned, she is not a variant simply a pretty badly discoloured Twinkler.

Oh poor Twinkler, that's sad. If she wasn't so expensive I would buy her just so she could have a nice home.
