Well I finally watched the episode - and was so disappointed that they didn't show the Breezies!!! From the description they SOUND like the G3 breezies- but not even a peek at what they look like.I hope they come up again later- I do have this hope they will make a toy line of them, fantasy/fairy stuff seems to be pretty popular these days, right???I want some little fairy ponies...
Oh good! I thought that this last episode was it- guess that's what I get for not reading all the episode descriptions

Like centaurs, seaponies/merponies, etc.Oh, I definitely would like Sea Ponies more than Breezies, though I like both. And come to think of it, I have seen quite the uptick in dolls of mythical creatures, and it really makes me wish I had the time and space to get some of them. Centaur toys, if they were well made and elegant enough, would really be cool! Its the age of the target market though. MH have a completely different target market than MLP. So while vampires and dark sea creatures may appeal to that pre teen market, the same is not always true of little girls potentially 6 to 10 years younger. You are right. I guess I was referring to toys in general, not necessarily MLP-related though, when I mentioned centaur toys and such. I... can't imagine MLP centaurs. O_oI get you The while vampires and werewolves and gothic is so hot right now. Makes me wish MLP could appeal to an older demographic - imagine the creations we could perhaps get [probably the main 6 with vampire teeth ].

Makes me wish MLP could appeal to an older demographic - imagine the creations we could perhaps get [probably the main 6 with vampire teeth ].Lalaloopsy did a Halloween line, their "thing" (and actually, a trend in most current dolls) is to produce a lot of lines featuring the same characters but in different themed outfits. For examples of grands that do this I've got Lalaloopsy, La Dee Dah, Novis, Bratzillas, Ever After High and Monster High (less so). These are all above the price range of regular ponies (I wish they weren't so cheap) but about the same as EQGs. I wish Hasbro would follow this trend, as they are putting out the same characters repeatedly, just not with enough changed about them. I wish we could see a line of ponies or dolls in Halloween costumes, or other outfits with strong themes, like garden party or Manehatten fashion. Hasbro is too slow and too repetitive with the pony line, imho.
