Rehair G3 Minty

I had some leftover hair and had never liked the manky hair my G3 Minty had, so I had some fun with her!
I added extra hair either side of her forelock area to create a V, filling it in to make it nice and thick. Then curved up around her ears and gently blended in to her mane, again adding in extra plugs within the new hairline for extra volume. Then I went crazy with ringlets (which are always horrible messy for me) and made her a little headband to keep it all pushed back... my only regret is that I didn't make her tail as thick but I'd run out of hair, two full hanks went into her.

Thanks! To make her curls I wind the hair around a drinking straw, then use other straws to hold it all in place (using bobby pin or pipe cleaners) and pour boiling water over it all then leave to dry for 24hrs... I wish I had taken a WIP photo of her because the amount of straws sticking out everywhere was insane! :P

So THATS how it's done! Yeah, with that amount of hair I can beleve it must have been tons and tons of straws :lol:

Wow! Now that mane looks so full and lovely. Minty is very pretty with her new hair and extra hair!! And i think her tail looks perfect with her mane. :)

Wow- she looks great with those curls!  The extra lines of plugs give her so much volume.  She looks really elegant now- especially with her little crown!
