G4 Custom Pink Lemonade and Finished Fruit Pony (Pic Heavy!)

I wanted to do a kind of pink - yellow rehair of Fluttershy but when I finished the hair I decided she looked like pink lemonade so I went with it.  Her symbol is a pitcher of pink lemonade and is painted on both DS and NDS sides.  This is the first G4 I've tried to customize  :blush:  I confess I mangled her neck a little bit.

And here is a picture of my work-in-progress.  My daughter went through my collection of Dolly Hair and came up with a rainbow in Candy Apple, Sunset, Golden Delicous, Sour Apple Martini and Bobby Blue and asked me to make her a fruit themed custom for her.  I asked her what she wanted to name the pony and she decided on Fruity TootieLOL.  Anyway, here are pictures of the work in progress.  I'll update the thread and post pictures when she's finished.  As my second G4 custom I feel like I learned a lot and was able to do a better job getting the plug out.  No neck cuts at all this time. >_<

Edit:  And here she is finished. Her hair isn't styled because my daughter will be playing with her and styling her hair.  I put many coats of sealant on her symbols so hopefully they don't scratch too badly, but if they do I suppose I can always touch them up for her.

I love the colours you used to rehair pink lemonade. The fruit pony looks adorable, can't wait to see the finished product :)

Fruity Tootie looks awesome, nice and crisp.
I especially like how you did Pink Lemonades hair!
That neckplug hardly seems mangled to me, I've seen and done much much worse :)

They're both so beautiful, I love how smooth your paint work is. You daughter sure has a keen eye for colours, I can't wait to see how Fruity Tootie looks finished, she already looks very yummy!

Thanks everyone!  I can't wait to finish Fruity-Tootie.  I'm just waiting for a new needle for my rehair tool.  I've ordered some replacements from DollyHair but I think I'm going to try and buy a pack of needles and nip the ends of with wire cutters.  I just don't want to wait LOL.
