" Things with Wings" Swap, FINISHED

I am working on the mold for my wings. I hope I won't mess up too bad.

I'm trying to design the structure for them now so I can cut it out and place it later tonight. Hard to do as I'm also finishing up dinner...   I am aiming to start major sculpting on Thursday or sooner. I need to figure out what to do with the figure's backside...

I need to by some mesh where does everyone get it from? I went to my local craft shop and to hobby craft yesterday but I could not find any:( xx

So..I've been sitting here, wire and mesh on my lap for the last hour and a half, and I've gotten nothing done...  >.<  I should be doing stuff but I still don't feel good tonight.   

Not to mention slightly indecisive about my design for how to work with them.  >.>

I think we have plenty of time to figure out what we're doing and how we'll be doing it I promised myself that I wouldn't get stressed out doing swaps lol. Still waiting for supplies to come in.

So, uh... how big is too big? I've trimmed my armature down twice and these suckers are still going to be huge. Realism, and all that... 'cause a pony can't fly with no itty bitty wings

I've got my overall design idea, and some details worked out as well as color scheme.  I have a great idea for a method for the wings, but I don't recall ever seeing anyone else use this material quite like this so I'll have to do some experimenting to see what works and what doesn't.

Just need to figure out pose and find my bait and then I can get started.

I've managed to narrow down my bait (and get it all prepped), I've pretty much decided on the overall design and how I want to do the wings.... I am just stumped by the colours. My partner gave me too many awesome options, but hopefully when I go through my hair box something will inspire me

I've found that when I do wings, I always make the armature a fair bit smaller than what I actually want, because things easily get out of hand once I start sculpting.

ok ok i finally figured out what i want to do.. just gotta pick a bait my partner had so many awesome ideas it was hard to choose one lol!

I've been sick yet again but I feel better today so I may actually get something done :/ References have been printed though and bait has been picked out, just need to dehair her and get started with the Magic Sculpt   I hope my partner likes the idea I came up with

Ive prepped my bait! AND decided on an idea. woohoo, I don't usually take so long to get my idea!!

I've started sculpting It'll be a multistep process but it's going well so far.  I doodled some ideas and the plan has formed in my head, so now just working on the execution.  I haven't settled on the how the wings will look exactly yet, but they'll probably be last so I have some time to decide for sure
