I love tales!

I have a ripped dvd copy that I got from a trade looooong ago. I still watch them every now and again!

Melody has always been my favorite!

I love it! I haven't seen it in soooo long though. I wish it would be released on DVD in the US! I believe my favorites were Sweetheart and Bon Bon when I was little I was obsessed with the song Bon Bon sang about her brother being sick and her being jealous

I wish I owned all seven of the Tales girls. My favorites are Bright Eyes, Patch, Clover, and Bon Bon, and I'm starting to warm up to Sweetheart. .

It's a shame Hasbro didn't make those three boys, they could have made it if they had gotten past making Teddy with his weird hairstyle...

I have to admit, Tales is my favorite out of all the animated Pony adaptions.
I know it has it's flaws of course, but I love it so much and have such strong childhood memories with it!

Clover was my very first pony toy and I identified a lot with her as a child.
I was also ridiculously lucky, clumsy with an older sister I saw it as impossible to measure up to.

I also loved Bright Eyes and aspired to be more like her.

In my collection so far are; Clover, Patch and Melody. Hoping to get them all one day!

I have some other Tales merchandise like a backpack, animation cels, the annual, etc. I really wish this show would've lasted longer as well. :/

The toys were sold in the UK because by the time Hasbro decided to make toys of them, they had made the final decision to limit ponies to the UK, and, well, the rest is history.

Honestly... I didn't care for tales. You can throw fakies at me now. The ponies were too human for me.

I loved the first animations too but always had a hard time watching them because I did not like Megan and her siblings as a kid.
So strangely enough I liked tales more as there were no humans, even though they acted as if they were.
It doesn't really make sense, I know

I used to love MLP Tales. I can still remember watching them on Disney Channel, Some of the episodes featuring the original ponies I would watch and some I wouldn't but I think I watched 99% of the Tales episodes. I'd love to have the Tales ponies buy I don't have any right now.   I also wish you could get Tales on DVD in the US. I'm not sure why they're only released in other countries.  At one point I had Tales episodes on my computer but right after I put them on my computer was full of viruses and I took them off.

I don't remember watching Tales as a kid, but when I got into collecting I really fell in love with the show. It's probably my favorite out there. I love Bon Bon and Sweetheart especially!

Teddy, were you the lady at the MLP Fair last year who was selling the Tales animation cels? I was so close to buying one, but I decided against it because you were out of my favorite character. Regardless of whether or not that was you, please do me a favor and thank your husband for me for uploading the show. Without those videos, I never would have seen it.

I've never been to any of the MLP Fairs, so it definitely wasn't me. But I will pass along your comment to my husband! He will be pleased to hear it! ^-^ He is actually a member here as well under the same name (mlptfan), but he doesn't come here often.

Oh wow, I guess I failed to notice that you are in Sweden, so the MLP Fairs do seem like an out. ; Sorry about that. That's what I get for not proofreading!

Heh, I wish my SO was cool enough to like ponies! His best friend likes Friendship is Magic and he does get a kick out of my collection, so maybe someday Ill be able to convert him!
