I'm pretty sure a couple have been found in Toronto (there's a large Indian community there, a very huge melting pot of many different cultures...Toronto prides itself on it) and I believe one in Ottawa or thereabouts. It's so very interesting to find these world travellers...and BTW NONE of you are making selling this beauty any easier for me!! I know I'll probably never see another one in my life and it makes me sad, but I have to do what I have to do. I'll put a reserve on her, though

I had a similar experience when I realised my childhood Minty and Snuzzle were Indian. I'd love to complete the set one day *sigh*

I thought the Indian ponies were only sold in India? Where abouts did you live as a child?

Malaysia.   I also have a couple of Indian ponywear outfits that my parents got for me on a trip to Nepal.

Oh! I haven't seen Indian pony wear for years and I think the only ones I have seen are Pony Royal [different colour cape], Tea Party and Parade Pizzazz. I know it makes sense that only the first set were seen. I would love to see if you have pictures Whippy.

Hey, does anyone know a rough number of how many india ponies are out there? I'm assuming less than Macau, more that Taiwan Mountain and South African...

That's the 4th Butterscotch I have seen in the last year...one was sold at ebay(with clothes and a lot of red marks), this one, the one Ember1 bought and mine....I'm not sure about the one from ebay, but mine is the one with dark hair(like the normal Butterscotch)

Remember that Cotton Candy I had you clean up for me and how we found the bodies hold the dye in the pours.
The blond butterscotch is a lovely variation.  I don't think the hair would ever fade quite that way.
