I wonder also because of the other 'news' they have on the left side, A cat can attack someone like that , but I don't know if the can drop them like that- unless there was a patch of Ice and the woman fell trying to get the cat off her face/head.  Hard to say.

Cat scratches and bites hurt way worse then dogs (at least to me) I work at a vet hospital and have had small bites by both.  My guess is she slipped when trying to get the cat off.

I have also messed with feral cats (we do a spay/neuter release thing) and they are nothing to pick on.  They can be down right nasty.  Usually if we have a feral kitty come in I make everyone leave the room but me and the other girl who is good with cats.  Sometimes we end up having a kitty rodeo.  I have seen them jump straight up in the air, and when trapped straight at a person.

If it's true, I think the woman kind of deserved it. The cat did nothing wrong.

Yeah, cats are scary when they're ticked off. I used to work at an
animal hospital and cat bites are no joke.
They're teeth and claws are like hooks that just hang on.
I was once bitten by a cat named Spider. The other assistant with me was incorrectly holding the cat and it latched onto my wrist. No fun.
They're more agile than dogs and in that case scarier sometimes.

Seems feasible to me.

The pictures of her face after are pretty gross, all swollen and infected. Supposedly the cat was going to be put down by nieghbors, had bitten other people and she took the cat in because she didn't want to see it destroyed. But it happened anyway.

I agree she did deserve it, she could of just taken her dog in and wait for the cat to leave then take her dog out.  Poor cat, if it was put down, because it defended itself. Some people are just stupid.

It looks like a security camera.

Edit: It is a security camera, she has one on her house, and it is a real I think, it was on the news. :/
Unfortunately the poor cat had to be put down to test for rabies....which annoys me...the woman said she had taken the cat in and kept it since the Summer. If she had the cat that long, why didn't she take the cat to the vet and give him a rabies shot...?  That way she would *know* the cat didn't have rabies...and the poor thing wouldn't have to have been put down.

Why would she post this is it was a security camera? Its obviously her residence and not a neighbor.

Sorry, but the pieces don't add up.  While a cat may infact beable to cling like a ninja, the set up was just too perfect.  That and I would think it would take more then some snow to PO a cat to the point of leaping up over 5 feet to attack someone.

Either someone provoked the cat 'off camera' or this is some kind of weird set up to try to force blame on either the woman or the cat, for attention.

All IMHO, ofcorse <3

Honestly - the lady sucks for going after the cat like that and kicking snow on it-

But... the cat's reaction was NOT normal.  If it were feral, it would have run.  If it were not feral- it still would not have launched itself at the lady's head like that-  going after her face/throat is very very aggressive.  I'm sure the cat was either sick or mentally ill.

Still, poor kitty.

I was thinking the same, too perfect to all be caught up in a video ,no?

but set up or not , the Cat's reaction was just hyper violent . :( guess no one won on this one :( which is the case on most fights .
