My Pretty Pony - Questions

I was wondering if anyone had some genuine My Pretty Pony ribbons, and perhaps a comparison photo between them and the original G1 MLP Ribbons?

I know they are supposed to be larger and thicker, but are they the same texture? How long are they?

Wiki has very little info, and greatponies just says:

The brown My Pretty Pony came with 5 ribbons (according to her box). Since almost all the
MPP ribbons I have ever received have been in bad condition, I'm not sure what most of
them were supposed to look like originally. The above are my best guesses.
A pink and (possibly) a yellow My Pretty Pony were also released, but I have never owned
either of these ponies so I have no reliable knowledge about their ribbons.

So, I was just hoping to see how much bigger the MPP ribbons were and if they had the same texture/finish as the original MLP ribbons?

Also, is it confirmed that both a pink and yellow "Peachy" MPP were released? Or is the yellow/white/cream one just a "faded" version of the peach/pink version?

I think the yellow one might be a faded peach one, I did hear of a Lavender prototype one though

I bought a MPP with her box and most of her accessories last year. The ribbons were in super rough shape but I'm almost positive there was a red one, about twice the thickness of a regualr g1 ribbon. I can't be sure on the others though, and I'm not a home right now. I'm sure someone will have them though. I agree that the yellow one is probably a faded peach one.

The yellow one is definitely a discolored Peachy.    There are, however, two different brown ones.  There's the normal one and then a version with a white spot on each flank.

Really? I've never seen that kind of Brown MPP - any photos of that one around? Like it has a cutie mark?

I definitely have  Peach and a Yellow one, lol but they're different enough that even if they are just faded versions of each other, I'm keeping 'em both!

I have the Peachy one in somewhat rough shape. She is still peach on one side of her body and more yellow on the other.

I JUST got a brown one with the original box and her hat. I didn't know there were 2 versions. I'll have to pull her out again and see who I have.

I have both.    It's not like a cutie mark, it's just a large circular white patch.  I can try to get some pics but I may not remember.  You may have to PM me, lol!

You'll hate yourself for saying that because I totally will bug you about photos, lol! I really love MPP, and if there's one I'm missing I want to seek her out!

The version with the white spot on her rump is much harder to find than the other version. I am sure Ivy posted a picture of the two of them a few months ago as well - just in case Skeen does not get a chance to get a picture you could perhaps search out that post. There was only one of the Peachy - but she discolours very easily that shade and hard plastic. Over the years I have seen her in all manner of shades

And yes she did come with 5 ribbons - one large red one and then 4 smaller ones, there is a little variety in colour - green, white, yellow, blue and pink.

The variant brown version is the one that came with "Beautiful Baby" (aka Butterscotch).  It's pretty rare, but pops up from time to time loose because not many people know about the variation.  Big old white spot on the rump gives her away!

As far as the Peachy pony goes, I'm convinced she was produced pink and just yellows easily.  I've managed to correct some of the yellowing using peroxide cream on one I had.  I've seen completely yellowed/peach ones, but most have some slight or partial yellowing.  Finding an all-pink one is rare!

Another bit of trivia, with the regular (non-spotted) brown pony, I have two different hat decals. One that goes all the way around the hat, and one that goes just around the front half:

Thanks, ashlyne!    Wow, I never knew she was so rare.  I've had my spotted version since I was about 14 - she was one of the first things I ever found when I started collecting seriously!

Yeah I've had all my MPP from when I started collecting, but now I'm really wanting to complete them with accessories and such.

If you guys would be so kind and alert me if you ever do happen to see Ms. Spotted Bum... I would be forever indebted!

What does her big brush look like on the face? Does it have a symbol, or flower, or anything like that?
And HONESTLY Shiney, you'd think that by now you'd know to post the ponies you have...we're just going to ask you to do it anyway!!
