Well I took the day off work to go to the docs, so while I am allergic to baking (my oven hates me) I'm thinking of doing some rum and apricot balls and white christmas this arvo. Not baked, but delicious, yes???!

Why does it have to be muffins
When I got her boxed from comic con I honestly thought they were cookies
Now I'm angry you all mention muffins
I hate muffins it sounds like a dumb name for a stripper
I thought the box picture had COOKIES
Then I was laughed at for thinking so
Now I'm the one laughed at because I want and saw cookies
I miss Cookie Monster!!! So I'm calling her Cookie Monster!
So you can all just eat your muffins!

About why her name is unmentionable, I think there are two possible reasons:

1. Pony Hooves is a fan name. Hasbro doesn't want to really use fan names on most products (with the exception of DJ and Dr. Hooves), so they just have to put a picture of a muffin and don't bother copyrighting her name. Maybe Pony is just an inappropriate word.

2. Another suggestion is that Pony Hooves goes by so many different names ( Pony Hooves, Pony, Ditzy Doo, Muffin, Bubbles, Bubblecup, to name a few) that I think Hasbro fears that if they patent her as any of these names,the people who are supporting any of the other names will get mad and won't buy the toy, so I think Hasbro is just playing safe and making her unnamed so that everyone is satisfied and won't have to care what the name is.

Now I'm staying to simply say, as the mother of a "handicapped" child, I do not find the Muffin Pony name offensive in the slightest. Never have, never will.

Hasbro don't seem to mind using fan names (Octavia, Lyra and Lyrica are all fan names that were later made official, for example), it's just that they avoid giving Ditzy a name because of all the drama that happened when she was named in the show ;.
