Wonderful surprise from madhatterda!

So, last night I got this wonderful package in the mail that I had to pry out of my iced over frozen mailbox - and I wasn't expecting this...

Inside was a handmade scarf from the most wonderful madhatterda with a sunshine on it that looks like my Ponysona's! Oh my gosh it's so warm and so beautiful! And was such a surprise! We've been in some swaps together and I've been a complain-y butt lately about some things going on in my life and maddie sent me such a lovely, thoughtful gift to cheer me up! And it certainly did!

I snapped some photos as I was wearing it outside today, it arrived just at the same time our foot+ of snow arrived, so it's PERFECT!!

I'm just really glad you like it and that it works out pretty well. The one I'm making for my sister has to have extra length because she's really tall and has long arms.

Like I said though I've enjoyed getting to know you and Mkia better, and I'm sorry you guys have some rough stuff going on. I hope it gets better

I'm also totally jealous of your snow! We only got about two inches of ice everywhere. It started sleeting around one last night and kept going till almost noon today. It looks like we have snow, but it's just ice. Those are some adorable pictures especially of your goat. My mother's dog Charlie was like that today (big outside Labrador) and decided to hide inside his dog house. I've got to put up some new tarps and stuff around his pen in the morning and borrow a heater to melt some stuff for poor Charlie.

And Maddie - you are just so thoughtful, I wore it everywhere today!~ It finally stopped snowing maybe like 6pm, I think we have a solid foot on the ground, too bad it's not snowman building type snow - but it started with ice here too, so under it all is a thick layer of ice, I have no idea how long this'll stick around - it's not really normal for this area to get quite so much snow, usually we get a decent snow early January and by February it's already time to start prepping the garden for planting! So I am SO very excited to have such a lovely lovely scarf to keep me warm because it's definitely needed lol! And thank you, for everything, as well, moral support, all the chatting, the swap posting fun and being able to call you a friend, I am thankful for all of it!

I sure am!  I work for the MSU Federal Credit Union and am in downtown East Lansing each day.  I have so much MSU gear I could fill up another house but I don't have those gloves.  Hmmmmm....must go search for those now.
