tutorial for cleaning So-softs?
« on: November 28, 2013, 12:36:09 PM »
I don't collect So-Softs but I just got one for a swap partner and I'd like to clean her up a bit before wrapping her up. ^_^

Can anyone give me some basic cleaning tips for So-Softs or link me to a tutorial? The pony doesn't look that bad, just kinda dingy. There's no big stained areas or anything. Is dish soap or hand soap okay to use, or will that ruin the glue? Can I scrub a little or will that take off the flocking so I should just let her soak instead?

Thanks for the advice! :)
Thank you Thimble for my amazingly cute avatar!

Make sure to test under a hoof before cleaning :) I know it sounds odd but breaking down glue is what causes the flocking to come off so there is always the possibility that what works for one So Soft will not work for another. Testing under the hoof should show you how much cleaning the pony can take!
