Is your most valuable pony necessarily your favorite pony?

I can't say I have an over all favorite but my most valuable certainly aren't my favorites. My most sentimental favorites are Sugarberry and Nightglider, but even when I had a MOC Mimic, Quackers and my MOC version of her were and still are my favorites. I think my most valuable right now are my MIB Princess Sparkle and Pristina. Loose wise it's probably Sweet Scoops but I don't even like her much. Oddly enough every time I think of getting rid of ponies I just don't love, I still can't do it lol.

Hmm, I haven't ever thought about this before! For me it's actually pretty much yes. My favourite G1s are Night Glider and my childhood blue-hearts Dazzleglow, and my fave G4s are Star Swirl and Nightmare Moon... and those are some of the relatively more valuable ponies in my herd. But they would be my favourites no matter what they were worth, so they're not my faves *because* of value--apparently I just have expensive (well, they're not all that pricey comparatively speaking, I know) tastes!

I think my most valuable pony is my Italian Bubbles with collectors pose head. I do like her a lot, but she's not my favorite.
I'm not sure I can pick just one favorite, but my childhood Stripes, Baby Stella and Strawberry Surprise are definitely among the bunch.
None of which are terribly valuable I believe.

Hmm well Lollipop is my favourite  but not sure she is my most valuable as I also have Tux n Tails. She is more valuable to me though because of the sentimental value (had her since I saw 5)

Possibly, actually. I don't have any really expensive ponies. My most valuable pony (that has a consistent value that doesn't seem to fluctuate too much) would probably be my mintiest complete Barnacle. While that particular Barnacle is not my personal favorite from my army, Barnacle as a whole is my favorite, so, technically yes!

I don't remember who my most expensive pony is.  I try to get them as cheap as I can when I can.  Only once did I pay a little more on line then I wanted to, but it was for a lot so it wasn't too bad.  The one I spend the most on isn't my favorite.  My favorite pony would have to be Starcatcher from G3.  She was the most unique of all the pegasus ponies and she was the reason I started collecting again.  I love her so much.

Nope. My most valuable is probably Indian Minty, but I love me my Buttons and Noddins.

As far as toys I would think so, my most valuable pony is probably only minty... but I love her so much! I love pegasus ponies from all gens but my favorite toy in my herd is definitly Minty! I just loooooove her colors, I have a mint and purple colored dolphin as her pet! =D I would never dream of separating the two or her from my herd.

Hm, nope. It's Sparkler, I think. Or Baby Chuck E. Cheese. Or Braided Beauty, or Lily, or Honeysuckle, or Dancing Butterflies, or... Well, not the most valueable, anyways

My favourites as far as sentimental are the Seashell n Bubbles my father gave to me for Christmas last year after wanting them for 30 yrs! But my favourite is baby Liquorice, who i suppose is on the expensive side, but she's also sentimental, since she reminds me of my dad (daddy's girl much?) Lol!!
My absolute favourite right now is my Brazil Cotton Candy! So teeny and sweet! I love her small size and bright, happy colors

My favorites are G1 Applejack, Glory, SS Flowerburst, FS Fluttershy and Applejack. FS AJ may be among my most expensive, but I think SDCC Bubbles may beat her. So generally, no - my favorites aren't my most valuable

My most valuable is probably HK Yellow Moondancer (I don't really have rare Ponies) buy my Favorite is Baby Rabbit (She was my childhood pony and I've received her last week!  )

Mimic is the most valuable pony I own and one of my favorites, but Fizzy and Sugar Sweet are also my favorites and they're fairly cheap Lickety Split and Cherries Jubilee are also favorites and they're very inexpensive
