Swapping G1 heads?

How swappable are G1 pony heads?

I was wondering if I could put Skydancer's head on Posey's body. They look to be the same yellow but do the heads work swapped? I figure the neck shape of the different poses won't match up well, but I'm curious. Does anyone have a couple they could swap heads to check for me? lol

She's a neon rainbow but she'll do nicely, now I just have to buy one.

Think I'm now in the spirit of this thread... I restore a lot of ponies so I have ponies with 'loose' heads and easily removable tails. So sometimes I also swap tails or heads temporarily to where they shouldn't be =)

You know her tail did belong to a Starshine that is so bait I think she will probably end up being a head or wing donor for a customiser. It has a hot pink streak that compliments her symbol pretty well. So maybe I will! I'm getting more and more used to her like that, the hat completely hides her buzzcut as well
