Toy store cuteness!

So, I headed in to TRU to see how I can take advantage of the BOGO this week, and of course there were plenty of shoppers today, as the holidays are on their way. But one group of shoppers really melted my heart. A mom was pushing her very young daughter in a cart, with her son who looked a bit older toddling ahead of them.

As they decided who they didn't have yet, she gave her daughter the giant Fluttershy plush to cuddle while the boy charged over to the Equestria Girls toys, just as excited as his sister.

Boy: "It's Principal Celestia! And Principal Luna!"
Mom: "It is! Do you see Trixie?" *actually pointing to Nightmare Moon*
Boy: "Whoooa!" *pushes button on the toy*

By the time the mom and her daughter had finished identifying the Littlest Newborn characters, I was standing there in the back of the aisle with this big silly smile on my face.

I ended up just getting a couple blind bags I didn't have yet. I originally had picked up the last Applejack brushable, but after making small talk with a different mom who was looking for an Applejack for her daughter, I passed it over to her. I'll get a second G4 Applejack one day.
So I got Lily Valley and Apple Stars instead!

Walking up to the checkout made me realize I may be in the store too much. Two employees pointed to me:
"There's our pony girl!"
"Huh?"
"She's one of our regular customers who comes in here and buys ponies. She works at Best Buy."
"Ohhh!"

The whole trip made me feel so warm and fuzzy that I wanted to share it all with you guys.  Now it's your turn... I want to hear your happiest, sweetest pony shopping stories!

lol i think the thing i miss most about working at TRU is my regulars lol they were so amazing and awesome and made some of those awful days soooooooo much better.  i got screamed at by this one guy because we didn't have a walmart exclusive, go figure lol, and i mean he was threatening me and calling me every nasty word in existance ... and one of my regulars came up to me and just gave me a hug and a firm handshake and his son said "you a bad man ..." and grabbed my pant leg lol and that mean guy was the farthest away thought in my head lol

Working retail can really be rough. It's why I moved back to the warehouse at Best Buy.

That's a cute story!!  Here's my best experience!!

A couple of weeks ago, I went to my local big car boot sale on a pony hunt.  I got to a toy dealers stall - every weekend I go I ask her if she has any ponies and she usually has 1 or 2. I usually buy all she has even repeats, and sell them on if I have them already. Anyway, this time she said I have a bag full    I picked out about half a dozen that I didn't have, leaving about 7 or 8 that I already had. My finances weren't all that great and her ponies are a bit pricey - I mean OK for ones going to my collection, but not if I want to re-sell them. So I left the rest and she emptied the bag out on her stall.

Seconds after she'd done that there was an ear splitting shriek of "MUMMY.....LOOK......PONIES!!!! and a little girl about 5 or 6 years old came running to the stall dragging her mom behind her.

I was so glad I didn't buy all of those ponies, it made a little girl very happy
