Oh, congrats! How exciting! I named my son Ivan Earl, haha. Lilly if he had been a girl.

Now that I'm much older (a whole decade) since he was born, my name for a girl has changed. I'm named after my grandmothers, Jean and Elsie Lee. (My middle name is Jealeen) I want to carry on that tradition. I would love my daughter's first name to be Eleanor, after my grandmother who passed last year. Then, I feel bad because then I'm not honoring my other grandmother who passed in 1996, when I was 10. They'll be my daughter's great grandmothers... just from my side. Whoever her father will be will have family he may want to honor as well.  Thank goodness, I'm probably never having another child.

I love name Betsy, too. :)

I'm very little help. Haha.

Laura isn't a name you hear very often anymore. I like those kinds of names.

I know my boyfriend likes the name Connor for a boy.

Well, James/Michael/David are the most successful guy names and uh I think any connotation of Ann is bad for girls, I guess it's because it sounds like man, man.

I'd actually suggest heading to the library and looking for a baby name book. Looking through all the names I'm sure the right ones will just jump out at you. Baby names just seem so personal to me that I doubt anything anyone lists will be right.

I think whenever I have a kid, I'm going to look to family names and add a twist to them. That's what my parents did with my name. So even though I have an uncommon name, it's still tied to my family. And I think that's pretty cool.

I have names for my non existence children.  I seem to be umm as my coworkers put it a hermit so meeting someone is not easy for me :p I'm okay with being a hermit

Anyway if I would meet someone and have children I love
Alexander Jacob for a boy and Jostlyn Elizabeth for a girl.
