Current price of G4 blindbags?

Hey there! Is there any where to look at what G4 ponies are currently worth? I have a full blind bag set of U.S. waves 1-8, every single one and their cards. Looking to sell all of them, but not entirely sure how much to ask.

The best price gauge is ebay - at least for the wider market - or to ask here or check out the price check archive forum or even just what other people are selling for in the sales forum.

So by US waves do you mean you have wave 1 then wave 3 to wave 8?

Waves 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are pretty much all retail value. Occasionally the Princesses from Wave 5 and the Wonderbolts from Wave 7 will sell a little higher - maybe a couple of $ more but not much more. These waves were very widely available and a lot of them are even still in stores some where.

Wave 3 will be about a $1 more than retail mainly because even though they were reasonably prevalent they were long enough ago newer collectors may be on the look out. And wave 1 which actually had quite a poor release $5-6 each.

The exception to all these prices are the main 6 in their basic form - they are not worthless but their continual release in blind bags and other ways means they dont hold much value at all.

Thank you very much for the advice! Ebay is generally where I go as well, but I wanted to know if there was a more versed collector with more knowledge.

Although it's been a couple waves since we last had the main six characters in normal, opaque forms, so they might be a little higher than they used to be. (And it doesn't help that "retail" isn't much of a constant value, either. $2-$5, depending where you are and where you look...)

In other news, I just acquired Wave 2, which was only ever released in Europe. Any ideas on THAT pricing?

I would say wave 2 would be around $15 apiece, with the exceptions of the mane six, Blossomforth, and Lulu Luck, which have had wider releases. Tea Love has also been rereleased, but it doesn't seem to have affected her value much.

Oh, Tea Love's pretty cheap. I'd feel sad if I'd paid more than a dollar for her in the first place.

the hoof numbers are when they were made- I think they work like year fist then how many days into the year~ so that first minty would be the first year 101 days in.

Someone in the area was moving, and sold a TON of pony stuff to me for super cheap. I didn't know what blind bags were included, but there were several cool sets and that was all I needed. Euro set was a complete bonus! My roommate, who collected all the U.S. waves, was baffled by what wave they belonged to until I looked it up.

Huh, weird. I have almost a full Wave 1 set (just missing Applejack) and for some reason these 2 Minty's. Acquired from the same sale mentioned above.
