With my ponies I clean them up best I can washing their hair, styling it (no heat used) & getting rid of what dirty marks I can, with out hurting them any more.
I love doing this, I try to treat all my ponies how I would treat my Lollipop (my pride of joy) I can't leave any pony behind when I see them out & about, doesn't matter on their condition, I try to list any flaws they might have on my ponies for sale, some ponies I have found look cute with some of their flaws.
So with ponies I will sell I won't restore them (mainly I don't know how
) plus I would like their new owners to decide how they would like them, whether they love them like LadySiha (this made me very happy & made my day to hear this btw
) or if they are going to be used as bait for a custom, I just like seeing them going to lovely new homes
(think I get a bit too excited when I send them off too their new home lol)
As for my own ponies I will try not to restore them, but I do have a Buzzer who is off to get new wings very soon & a Moon Jumper who is off to see if she can get her foot repaired (she has a chew mark
).
I wouldn't usually do this but as these wingers mean a lot to me & will never leave my life (already told my boyfriend this, he said I can have my own pony room hehe)
If I can avoid repair on my own personal collection I will.
So it is ultimately down to you, if you want to sell her don't repair her, but if she is for you decide which condition you would like to see her in.
