You can still get the Pinsir and Heracross via the internet. I got mine yesterday. Not sure if you can find the stones in game, or if it was only via the Gamestop promotion, though.

I'm pretty sure that the stones are obtainable in game (in Santalune Forest I think.... not 100% sure of that), but you can only get one stone in one game and the other in the other game. The codes just make it super simple to obtain the stone not found in your game (if you are playing X the code gives you the stone found in Y I think is how it works, and vice versa).

Ahh, I see! Okay, I feel better now! Thanks for the info! ;D I got up to the first gym, got busy maxing out my Pokemonamie minigames, then I got wrapped up in Animal Crossing, so I never got past the first gym... So I'm a bit behind in finding mega stones and such!

As of yet, the only Mega Stone that you can't get in X or Y (excluding the future new Megas for the next two games) is Blazikenite, whichw as the first WiFi gift for people who got it basicaly that first few months. Maybe even Lati@site, if you want to count that as well.

Crazy morning. Just traded a tonne if common g1 pokemon for Uxie mesprit , shiny ditto level 100, raikou, celebi, Groudon and a couple of others! Crazy! Considering I traded Pokémon like Paras! I'm lucky today! About time after the car accident Saturday!

Nice list! It is apparent to me that I use weak ones, but those are the ones I'd like. Heck, If I went all out I'd have a Skitty on my team. I like the canine and feline Pokemon.

I tend to use my favorites or ones that i really like. Such as Lucario. Heck, ever since he was revealed years ago, the only time I didnt have a Lucario on my team was in Black 1 and i had used Zoroark instead.
Hehe, i like to say Lucario is one of my Pokemon "mascots". xD

But in the end,  i could care less if a pokemon has bad stats - if i like it, I will use it.
