Ok this isn't my photo i found it on line so credit to who ever owns it..
however my doll is almost identical to this and my digi camera went ppppppppppppttttttttttttttth! on the batteries so Imma use this one.

Any how...
I was wondering is this a legit barbie because i NEVER EVER saw this one here in the states?
Was she from over seas?
Or is this a fake?
Mine was a gift from a VERY cool aunt.
I stuck her next to my Cpt. Kirk ken.. (figured it'd make Cap. Happy..hehe).
But i was just wondering about her and if she is real.

Never seen her before, but she looks like a real Barbie & her packaging looks legit. Very interesting! I'm not a Barbie collector though so someone else may have better info. She's pretty

i wanted them something fierce when they were released ... they didn't last long with the controversy of idiots complaining they 'promoted witchcraft' and 'drinking unknown things' ... which is pry why you never saw them or dont remember them ... they didn't last long

It's like Harry Potter Barbie! I would name her Hermione if I had her, she's very awesome I can imagine there would be controversy surrounding her and that may be why we've never seen her

I think she's a "small account" release. I saw her in a local grocery store (I'm in Maryland by the way) if she is a small accounts design it would explain why she's not being seen on TRU shelves.
Can't remember if I saw her at a Wegmans or safeway.

Those come out in the 90s I had all of them. There was a green one and I believe either blue or purple. Can't remember. Those were some of the coolest dolls. At least I thought so.

I like the red head the best. There was just something about her that was awesome!!

she was in TRU as well, i stocked her on the shelves. mattel wouldn't have had a commercial for them *points to her post above with link to youtubed commercial* if it was a 'small accounts' kind of line either ... it was to try and cash in on the harry potter craze going on during the books/movies in like 2003ish

but drinking the 'potion' and the witchcraft thing created an uproar and many stores didn't get the line or only got a few cases and collectors scooped them up ... and mattel stopped production post haste ......... and now they make monster high lmao
