Let's talk ice cream

  I thought a 1000 option poll would be a bit hefty, so I'm sticking to a handful of popular ice cream flavors.

I gave up dairy, but my favorite was usually mint chocolate chip ice cream. I also loved Nanaimo bar frozen yogurt! Holy moly, that was awesome.

However, I occasionally partake of coconut milk ice cream and my current favorite flavor (of the few available) is mint chocolate. Vanilla and maple isn't too bad either.

I'm with you, SDS, my favorite is mint chocolate chip, that's why I voted for both chocolate chip and mint

Mint, though I prefer it without the chocolate chips (which is surprisingly difficult to find)! I'm also fond of Neapolitan.

I went with cookies and creme, neapolitan, and good ol' fashioned chocolate. Cookies and creme is especially good when you get a brand with great big cookie pieces in it, complete with the creme filling still in the middle. And neapolitan is excellent with cake sprinkles.

Of course only after I'd already voted did I recall the amazing caramelized pear flavor that Haagen-Dazs once made. D'oh! But I guess that's technically a past favorite anyway seeing as they no longer make it.

Oooo... evil SDS, now I'm totally craving ice cream...

But you didn't put my favourite flavour!  I pistachio!  When I was little, I had a serious love for all things green.  I used to get pistachio ice cream and spit out the nuts.   Now I love the whole kit and caboodle.

I'm also fond of mint chocolate chip, and Neapolitan (when I can't make up my mind what I want).

Chapman's also does (or did; I haven't seen it for a while, come to think of it...) a really good vanilla & chocolate checkerboard.  That was pretty pleasing, too...

ETA:  Nanaimo bar frozen yoghurt?   I think I gained a pound just thinking about that...

I normally choose a *good* vanilla over anything else. I also like mint, without chocolate chunks. I would spit them out as a kid. <__<; I still kinda do.

I just had some icecream which has redbean, jackfruit, coconut milk... ;_;* It was like my favorite dessert drink in icecream form. It kinda blew my mind...

no cookie dough?! get out of my life! i voted cookies n crème, chocolate chip (in case you meant chocolate chip cookie dough) and other, for cookie dough. tho if chocolate chip IS the cookie dough, then cherry is my third. tho i find myself becoming fond of the icecream with a lot of junk in it, like waffle cone chunks, and stuff like that. but its so expensive for the fancy stuff i only get it once in a while as a treat.

besides, it needs cookie dough to be truly perfect anyways.

My fave flavor is "Lemon Pie", it is made by the brand "Friggio" here in Argentina. It is something like lemon mousse, but more awazome

If it involves chocolate or is chocolate-related I like it! Except mint choc chip because I don't like mint. But yes, that includes cookie dough too, yum.
I also like strawberry, banana, and toffee/fudge or honey type flavours.

My favorite 3 are Strawberry-Banana, Banana Split, and Bubblegum!

Voted other. My favorite is spumoni. If I'm ever at an Italian place I always get spumoni no matter how full I am. One of the big ice cream companies released spumoni at grocery stores but it's just not the same as authentic italian.

I have yet to try the staple Los Angeles ice cream; Fosselman's. Everyone I know that's had it swears by it and they have spumoni.
