lying mom and baby fakies ???

 You know, I started to collect ponies becouse of them.  I saw them only once at fair and I liked them so much  .  It about was  5 years ago but sthey looked like vintage becouse of their box.. I was really messy and the boxart was in retro style. Their faces  similar to g1 but they are  much smaller and thinner. May be g2 size ...They had a picnic playset with  basket  and a mat. Everything made of cheap plastic.
I have seen a photo of baby like that just ones ! Do you own them ?  Or  at least photos ?

A few fakies come to mind, but did i understand right that the mommy pony was in a lying position? I'm not coming up with anything on that front I'm afraid!

Is it the keypers(spelling?) ponies? Are they white with purple hair? I think there is a mom and baby and I think they are laying down. I could be totally wrong though! Maybe someone who had them can post a picture?

Keypers horses were produced by quite a few fakie makers so is it perhaps a fakie of a Keyper you mean?

If memory serves, Lanard made a pony in a laying pose, but they seem to be extremely uncommon. It's entirely possible that others exist!

Someone here found one at a yard sale about three years ago, but I don't remember who. I was still new to collecting at the time, so I didn't think to save the picture or any notes about it.

Oh yes it`s the baby from that set !  Thank you !   I really sorry that  I have not bought the playset ... I still think this baby is cute

"Lying down" is quite correct in this context.  To say the mother and baby were "laying down" would be wrong.  Yes, "lying" can have two meanings but you were correct in your title, don't doubt yourself!
