i just did another go, left it out on the lawn while i was down at the beach for a couple of hours and it has gone soo pink

Wow, glad you were able to get it looking better again! And so quickly!! I was sun-fading an Italian Gusty here in Sweden for 6 months! lol!

oh the sun here is lethal it really is. though the average temperature is only 24degress C. in summer time you get burnt in no time.
 soooooooooooooo to my advantage squeeeeee look at the difference in such a short time on a partial cloudy day

the tower was really bad though can't quite see in pics, it only took 2 hrs. the top part is so bright pink now

i didn't realize that my french stable was discolored till i bleached 2 of the doors

now to tackle the castle  after i have finished with the stable cos that are a tad easier. oh boy this will be a mission

Right?!? And she went to the beach! I just shoveled 7 inches of lake effect snow today, and had to scrape my car out of an ice block! :p

Great to hear that the play sets are reacting so well to the treatment!
The restored parts are looking great.

Now I'm kind of itching to try and whiten up my own show stable once the sun comes back.
That'll be a while though, being in the middle of winter and all.

thank you everyone, looking back on those photos they barely show any difference but in real life its much more brighter and colourful grrrrrr. i told hubby i need a decent camera, maybe next christmas

in all seriousness, its tough here, i have to spend hours vacuuming sand out of my car  ..........

Were they in a cardboard box? I think the brown from them actually does discolors stuff stored in them... Which reminds me ineed to take stuff out of boxes they are stored in as well D:
