I work at Michael's and I have to say, people are going NUTS over the Rainbow Loom! It used to be so bad that we would sell out every other day And I get asked about it probably 30 times a day. I've used it before (I actually do a demo for it on Saturdays) and it's a lot of fun to use

I think it's pretty cool, kind of reminds of a similar trend from the late 80's or early 90's but the bracelets were made from a think stretchy fabric. Does anyone remember those?

I TOTALLY remember those! I remember that you could make pot holders with those too.

Anywhoodle, I work at Toys R Us, we sell a version called Crazy Loom, and they sell out like hotcakes. We even have a demonstration on how to make them, where kids can make their own, every Saturday and it is a hugely popular event.

I totally do!!  You would put them on your fingers and keeps looping them on!  Oh man, what were those called??

Yes I remember those, but not their name. They were all bright colours - I loved those things.

I really want to start making them!  They look like too much fun.  I just don't want to add another craft to my rapidly expanding list since I'm running out of room.  My craft cabinet is so over stuffed that a shelf just broke under the weight of all my paint and stuff

I had one of those!  I was too young to remember the name (I was maybe 5?), though I defiantely remember playing with it^^
