Cleaning Color changing Starcatcher?

I just got one from the thrift store. I 'm afraid to clean her. Any tips? (Oh and she still works)

Baby wipes.

The colour changing works due to a coating on the surface of her body - this coating can be damaged by chemicals or exposure to too hot or too cold water. Baby wipes are mild enough not to damage the coating but also offer you something other than just tepid water to clean her up.
