i fantasize about that happening to me even after all these years, i know they are all gone now
but my mum is a bit of a hoarder and whenever she moves her garage is always cluttered with box's of old stuff she can't get rid of.
we don't usually have basements nor attics here in NZ so there isn't usually room for parents to keep their kids old toys so 9/10 they are long gone
so anyways good luck hun i can see them turning up soon

When I moved 6 years ago (or thereabouts), we had a really awful moving company.  So many things were misplaced, and even stolen.  When my collection of G3s from when I was littler went missing, I feared the worst.  I was sure that they were among the stolen items.  About a year ago, my Mom found some boxes that were supposed to go to my room buried under some boxes that had been put in the attic, and my ponies were in there!  Not a single one was missing.  I cannot tell you how delighted I was.  So there certainly is hope for your ponies, too!
