The transaction looks cloudy and suspicious!!!
« on: October 18, 2013, 12:50:40 PM »
hi everyone, i don´t normally vent my problems, but in this case I need expert advice :(
a commissioner contacted me in my FB page, she asked me about some customs for sale and about commissions.... she buy 3 and commissioned 1, I gave her the opportunity to split payments and in about  2 months  she finished the payments and i sent the customs. everything was good until there.

Then she told me that want to commission me for many other customs, most of them Chinese princesses, and we agreed  monthly payments.... i finished 3 , and have two more simple customs for her in the process, but she didn´t send the payment since the las month...disappeared without answering my messages, but she is very active in her own FB page

I recently published my first custom g4, and she inmediately sent a  message  to tell  that she want it, and talk about the next payment. But someone took it first, and i told her that. And now.... i still without any  payment for 3 customs wich are around 450 USD. She dissappeared again

The good thing is that i never sent customs until i have all the payment, but i think i´m wasting my time with her.  I've been thinking in block her from my FB and sell the customs apart, but I don´t want to act precipitously because is a big deal. what would you do?

Wait, I don't understand.

Did you actually confront her about the unpaid transactions?

With the quality of your customs, if she does not pay you should have no issues selling them to someone else :)

Sorry you have to deal with this though. I would give her a deadline to send a payment or youwill sell the to someone else.

I 100% agree with pyro here. I mean your you already have time and money wrapped up in them and that is unfair. Like Oneleo said your customs are to die for  :faint:, so I don't think you will have any trouble selling them.

If you have contacted her about the payments many times and she has not gotten back to then block her! You will sell the others in no problems :)

This  is what i would say too ^^ I'm sorry that your buyer has been wasting your time. I'm sure those customs will sell quickly to someone else if she still doesnt pay you

I agree with everyone else, it's not like you will have a problem selling these customs off, as all your customs are stunning! Also it's not a buyer from Australia is it? If so pm me as I have had the same problem!

owww finally i found the post!!! :dumbpc:
thanks everyone, i think i´ll block her and leave that commissions, at first was so tempting!!! all those customs, but now is just a waste of time, she answered to me some days ago, she told me she has a problem and can´t pay now. I understand  when something unforeseen arises, but she could told me that 2 months ago??? she even ask me to put an other custom in HOLD for her, i decided not to do that and sell to other person.

Will wait until november 10, if she doesn´t send any payment i´ll block her once and for all, by the way she is from Spain AK.....but, i having almost the same problem with someone in Australia...so  decided to don´t take commissions from people that i don´t know out of FB or the Arena >_<

Wow, someone has a lot of nerve... she has money problems and still asks you to put something on hold for her? You did the right thing selling the custom to another buyer.

I hope you can solve the issue and she'll pay you by the deadline. She doesn't sound like bad person or scammer, just someone not very considerate (wasting your time) and not very good at managing her budget...

That's also exactly why I decided to always ask for a non-refundable deposit. Luckily I haven't had a situation like this but I anticipated sooner or later someone would just disappear when it came the time to pay... Stating your ToS clearly will make the life easier for both you and the commissioners. I think it's perfectly fine to a) ask for a non-refundable payment before you start working, b) reserve the right to sell the custom after a certain time (e.g. 30 days) unless the buyer pays or contacts you to agree about a new deadline for the final payment. Well, I don't know if you're already doing that, and in any case it's also fine to offer commissions only to people you know. You make customs to sell relatively often, so it's not like others won't have the chance to buy your beautiful ponies. :)

That's nice of you ambar to give her even more of an extension for payment. Let's hope she makes good on it.
