So for some reason my brain said "yeah try drawing that pony like that...." and holy potatoes was my brain right. :3 I have my bookmark sketched out and its cuuute. I googled bookmark ideas and found some that I loved how they were done so I kinda cheated.

Whoopsie, I realized I need to hurry if I want to get this mailed on time. So I grabbed my pens and paints and well, I'm almost done Off to bed now, I'll see tomorrow if there's still something I can add. I kind of want to add some embellishments but I don't know what exactly...

I finished mine this morning, I think I'll have to spray it with varnish so it won't stain as I used some coloured pencils on it. I think it came out quite pretty, I hope my partner will like it. ^__^ Sending out on Monday, today is our Independence Day so there'n no mail pick-up or delivery, and we have none on the weekends either.

ok. finished one of the bookmarkers and realized it's huge...
big enough for an encylopedia... oops. good thing i have a back up.
so the one will just be pretty pic, and the other will be a functional bookmark.

i did the same thing. i made my first one a bit too wide, but it could still work for bigger books. i do have a normal sized one.

I have received pony mail!  Looks like I shouldn't have worried about the address - now you all unfortunately need to wait until the 18th before you will see any brag pics. Sorry, partner! Oh, and I have to wait until that to actually open it. Oh, what torture! I know who it is from, though...

1 oversized by accident.
1 cropped to fit,
1 scanned and printed smaller of the cropped to fit.
since the last one is an extra might use a little photoshop magic on the background if it's ok.

I got mine all sketched and was getting ready to do the inking when I set it down on the table... next to my book.  I don't know what kind of monster book I had been envisioning when I sketched, but it was HUGE lol.  So I'm redoing it tomorrow when I get home from work.
