All these pink haired ponies are making me so sad. I have had a few ponies that I've purchased within the past couple of years that came to me with nice pink hair that have since faded. My shelves don't get any sun, I don' t know why they insist on fading on me. Survive 20+ years with pink hair, fade as soon as they enter my house *sigh*

There must be some sort of UV light that is fading their hair. I put anti-UV window film over the window in my office where I display my ponies, even though they aren't in direct sunlight. I had noticed fading on a MOC pony's card and since I applied the film, I haven't seen any deterioration. Not to say that deterioration won't happen - it will. Everything ages, but you can slow it down. Good luck!! <3

Thanks for the tip! Sadly, I can't reach the windows that let the light in in the area where my ponies are - they're about 9 feet up! I might just pack my pink haired ponies away for now. I'll be moving sometime in the next 6 months, so hopefully my new place will be easier to protect.

I don't have really any mint ponies... I have a rather mint pony club baby but she's lost a bit of her curl (bought it MIP, but her bag was a bit ripped so I took her out... Her curl just fell by itself)
