I think I'm reasonably stocked on some FS pokemon now, spent a day doing that because I kept getting trade requests from passerbys and sometimes had nothing decent to offer them I really need to get working on a team though, hopefully this weekend...

So, mega stones....Are there any in-game hints on where to find them? I know I can find the locations online, but I'd rather figure it out on my own. But  I don't want to spend forever wandering around Terminus Cave on a hunch if there's nothing in there anyway   So far it seems like you'll only find them if you happen to wander past the right spot between 8-9 pm and see a sparkly?

No in-game hints to my knowledge.
You may want to look for their locations online since a good chunk of the post-game mega stones are in places you wouldn't think of.
Indeed, you will know you have found it if you see a sparkly spot and you can't go "through it". Also, you can only find/see them if you have beat the elite 4 and upgraded your Mega Ring (by/from Prof. Sycamore).

I am LOVING the friend safari.

I found a shiny eevee, and shiny Audino (my FAVORITE Pokemon!) without even trying! I'm so happy!
I lost almost my entire friends list on my 3DS due to some random glitch, so I need people to re-add me to their friends list. :<

My FC is 0946-2239-1444, and my friend safari has Ponyta,Slugma, and Braixen!

I just beat the game yesterday, and I'm trying to complete the Kalos pokedex now, then eventually the national, but that will be a while, haha.

Yep, hidden ability Eeveelutions come from hidden ability Eevees.
