Wow, I just evolved an Eevee into Sylveon with only two hearts of Affection. Guess it doesn't really take much. Seems it needs two hearts of Affection; one is not enough to trigger the evolution.

For people who have used the masuda method in this game to get shinies- how many eggs do you usually need to hatch a shiny?? I've noticed the odds are better than in previous games :--0 I've got 300 trubbish so far

Before my save went to crap and I had to start the game over, I had a shiny Eevee after about 100 eggs. Losing my game made me so sad, I was gonna make a pretty shiny Sylveon from him.

In Black 2 it took me maybe 70 eggs for a shiny Litwick? I'm at or over 150 Growlithe in X, probably way over.

Yay! I just caught my first wild shiny in X! It's a Farfetch'd! Shiny Farfetch'd are quite pretty with their pastel pink feathers. Mine is female and I named her Rosie.
