Frizzy Tails

has anyone noticed that recently releases G4s have had  issues with tails being dry and frizzy at the tips, while the manes are perfectly shiny? most of my G4s from the past few months have that issue, Princess Twilight, cadence, muffin, Chrysalis. Some don't, but more do than don't. I saw others mention this before too...

Yeah some of my new purchases have had frizzy tails. Personally I blame those plastic thingy's they like to pack around their tails. I don't like to cut them off for fear of cutting their already thin tails, so I slide them off instead. Sometimes it comes off easily, other times, well, less easily.

Yep! A lot of mine were like that, both of my princess celebration princess twin packs-all 4 ponies, my mrs cake, a few of the masked singles,  and all 3 of my crystal motions. Their mane is near perfect, but their tails are terrible, drier than the mcdonalds ponys' tails.

Yes there is certainly some inconsistency. Whether its the way they are packed or something to do with how the hair is treated I have on idea. But I do hope the manufacturing gets it back in gear.

Yes, this drives me nuts. It just feels...like disappointment. Lol.

Yup. It's bad enough they they're so thin, but the frizziness of the tails irks me even more. I've found smoothing them out with conditioner helps a bit, but doesn't fix it completely.

I just bought a Sunset Shimmer yesterday.  Her mane is wonderful, but her tail is horrible!  She didn't even have a plastic ring around her tail, it was just a tiny rubber band, so I don't think that the plastic things are completely to blame.

They're making lots of money regardless... why would they need to worry about QC?    Sounds like you need to write Hasbro a letter if it bothers you that much and you still want to purchase the products.
