Need feedback for my new blog. It's very new, but I would love feedback!

My blog has come a long way in 9 days, and it's almost like my baby now! I was wondering if anyone here was really interested by fashion, and would be kind enough to follow my blog? Or if not, could you please promote it? I need to get my foot on the ladder, and I'd love help for promoting it! I haven't promoted it on my private facebook yet, since I find the more people who you know look at it, it's a little awkward if you don't have many followers yet!

I think the text on the header could maybe be a different colour so it's easier to read? (You said you changed it, though, so ignore if my feedback is irrelevant). The grey text looks fine to me - when I asked on feedback on my blog, most people said they prefer a sans serif font online. I'm not fussed either way but it's something to keep in mind. I used a serif font for years and people still read my blog!

I like plain backgrounds (though my own blog isn't) but it all depends on the vibe you want your blog to have. I don't care much about being a popular blogger or monetising my blog but if you do-- or even if you don't! - IFB (Independent Fashion Bloggers) have some really good articles on layout and what-not. They're all written by other bloggers.

I think your layout looks great but I would maybe make the post column a smidge bigger? There's a lot of blank space on my screen when I view it but that's not necessarily a bad thing - it'll mean it's easier to view on smaller resolution screens without scrolling.

I think putting yourself out there in a blog, even though a lot of people do it, is still a really brave thing to do! Good luck And feel free to ignore anything I've said

Edit: I should add that, while I've been blogging for about 4 years, I don't know much about current trends and things! I blog more about vintage fashion and have just started branching out a bit.

Oh, good, I'm glad! Yeah, layouts can definitely take a while to tweak. I spent hours googling CSS and things to get mine to look the way I want.

Hehe, I don't blame you! The colour of that dress is stunning.

Thank you, sadly I didn't find any I liked, and I have spent 2 days editing the layout of this current one, and I think I'm happy with it now, but thanks for the suggestion, I might bookmark it!
