...but I've been hugging on this girl all evening! :D

A couple weeks ago, I started my search for cookery ponies and found her almost right away. As you can see, she has some work ahead of her (I'd love to know the best way to get rid of those yellow marks), but she's already special to me. Why? Well, she came from Norwich, which is where my boyfriend used to live. When I saw the seller's address on the paypal receipt, I commented on the rather unusual street name and asked if he knew where the name came from--and he told me he lived just a few streets over!

I wanted to wait til I had the whole set to post a brag, but I had to share this story right away. :)

That is cool. That was how I felt when I saw something for sale in a very very tiny small town where I have family. I live way west of family now so being able to buy from this town felt like I was buying from neighbors my family knows... Just felt like I was getting goodies from my family! Congrats

sun fading is the best thing for this girl, wrap her completely in tin foil, or what ever you call it in your country and only leave the marker/pen marks out and leave in sun, will take ages but will fade the marks in time :D
love the cookery ponies, one day i will come around to getting them :)

Congrats!! I love Cookery Ponies !!! Their are my favourite collection, got them all!!!! They are quiet hard to find, it took me few months to finish it :) Good luck on your collection!!!  :lovey:

What a great story! I love when things like that happen. I get oddly excited when I realise ponies have come from elsewhere in Scotland - we are a weird people :P
