Frozen: Anna or Elsa?

I'm curious which new Disney character you like the design of more.  Or which one you think you are going to like more.  I know opinions are forming even before the movie comes out.

I vote Elsa. I loovee the hair. And her color sceme is more appealing to me.

I agree.  She looks a lot like Rapunzel, and Rapunzel looks a lot like a CG version of Ariel with different hair.  Although I see differences between Ariel and Rapunzel more now.  This is one of the reasons I don't prefer CG animation.  I feel like the human characters all look so much alike.  Although Merida really had a unique look with her very round face.

Elsa.  I think one thing I really hate about animation right now is that the heroine ALWAYS has a lopsided smile, and I think it makes them look dopey.

YES!!!  I agree so much!  They want them to be more sassy than previous heroines so they give them a smirk.  I disliked Rapunzel's smirk and I don't like Anna's or Elsa's either (seen it on both of them in different pictures).  I think it gives them an attitude, and not in a good way, even though they are not like that in the movies.  Or at least Rapunzel wasn't.

I wish I could like Anna better. I would LOVE to have a heroine named Anna that I could truly adore. But going by her looks alone...no. Agreed that she does look a LOT like Rapunzel, who honestly has to be my least favorite (designed) princess ever. The eyes are just WAY too huge and it's distracting as well as a little creepy. Elsa's eyes are smaller so she instantly gets major points in my book. Her hair color is very pretty too, but I can't say I'm a fan of her mo-hawk bangs and prefer Anna's more realistic bangs instead. But I really wish Anna had been a brunette instead of a blonde (even if it is a darker blonde). We have so few brunette princesses and SO many blondes

Inky, I agree with you so much.  I wish Anna had brown hair.  We only have one brown haired princess.  I think Disney doesn't like brown hair on Caucasian princesses. 

I like Elsa's icy appearance but I haven't been a fan of the bangs.  They remind me a little of a mullet.  I adore her braid though.  And I love Anna's braids.  I love braids!

Elsa also wins points in my book because she's being voiced by Idina Menzel, who is amazing. Can't wait to hear the songs she gets.

Kind of interested to see how Kristen Bell does as Anna..

To be honest, neither really "wow" me. Like others have said, Anna resembles Rapunzel too much for my liking. I think the identical styles of the two movies are partially to blame, which is one of the reasons I'm not very fond of the 3D.

I'm also a little worried she may end up identical personality-wise to Rapunzel, since 'innocent-but-spunky' seems to be the "in" personality.

Elsa! She looks very elegant and mysterious I love her dress. Anna looks sweet and naive - like Rapunzel Her face looks a LOT like Rapunzel too.
