Good Food Processor?
« on: September 13, 2013, 01:43:33 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm in the market for a food processor and wonder if anyone has one to recommend. I've been thinking about the Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic 7-Cup because it is the top seller on Amazon. Anyone actually have it?

There is also someone selling a Cuisinart Custom Prep 11 on Craigslist in my area. It's got a larger capacity, but I'm a bit concerned about buying a used one...

It will be used for making raw nut butters, so I need it to be strong.

Thanks for any input! <3
Thanks to Calico Star for my siggy! <3 (deleted cause photobucket)

No idea, but if you find a used one cheap, maybe you could get it and try it to see if you like it before buying a new one then resell or donate the other?

I picked up the Kitchen-aid 13-cup Architect food processor and it's been wonderful. It came with a lot of different attachments too which work for all different foods. I've had it for about 6 months now and its been pretty awesome. No complaints! Sorry I don't know the model number off hand, but a quick internet search should yield some answers.

Cuisinarts are usually good.  I have a Cuisinart one (not sure of the model.)
