Well since english is not the native language for any of us euro countries, the slang is not going to be in english either. I suppose there is at least as many slang words for euro as there are languages in europe. We sometimes say "ege" in Finland.

Last time I was there, the mark 'was' the currency so im surprised to hear that some are still calling it that.
I think we have a lots of words for money itself but no special word for euro - prolly sometimes ppl still call it teuro (what means expensive euro - the t comes from the german word "teuer" what means expensive)Also some ppl call it euronen - dunno why I think it sounds stupid
Oh, shoot. Looks like I quoted the wrong thing. It should still be clear though--In Germany, they used to have Marks for currency, before they switched to Euro. Im just surprised people still call them marks sometimes o.o
