Her eyes look a little sleepy to me, though it's hard to tell under the plastic. But her materials look right and so does the brush. She kind of reminds me of the photo of the French Firefly in My Little Wiki.

I think she's adorable, personally! I'm surprised so many people seem to dislike her. I can't wait to get mine now :D.
Most people sadly don't like things that look too much like a fakie.. I like fakies to a certain degree and I'm willing to give this pony a chance.. though when I get her I'll probably still give a slight review on the product on Amazon

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fakie fan in any way, I just.. don't think this looks like a fakie? ^^; idk, I tried to keep my expectations low in case it wasn't a new brushable or anything, maybe that's why I'm not disappointed. -shrug-

Well, what do you know, it doesn't look like the photoshopped product image and they didn't manage to bend the rules of physics and fit a full size G1 pony into a 3 inch box. I'm shocked ;)

Her proportions are definitely off, but I applaud them for effort. I'm still looking forward to getting mine and taking a closer look.

Her legs look so stubby too! xD hehehe her head is rather on the large side! I might try to repaint the eyes on her, not sure if I want to or not. Im really surprised the way she came out, but hey at least its a G1 release right? Are these fireflys made by Hasbro? If so I feel like they forgot what G1 ponies look like. I still like her, Firefly is one of my favs and ive been meaning to make a G4 custom of her. Im excited about the book part! I want to see the illustrations!

Trying to decide  if I want to cancel the order or not...on one hand, I've seen better looking fakies, on the other, she's the first G1-style release in ages and maybe she'll grow on me.  Maybe the head won't look so giant in person.

ehh... I didn't have high expectations, but this... this is disappointing. Her head's too big and her legs are too short. I know Hasbro's quality control isn't great, but this is just bad design from the start. They really don't care about putting effort into what G1/older fans would like at all, do they? At least they did get they eyes right.

Kind of looks to me like an attempt at a cheap/fast way to try to cash in on nostalgia.

I think what kills me wth the fedex bit is that the fedex hub is 10 minutes from my house. Now I have to wait 2 extra days for the post office to sort it. Not fun.

At least I'm not so excited about the pony now :/

I'm glad some people like her, but yeah I'm gonna join the crowd that's glad they didn't order her. It actually has nothing to do with her looking like a fakie to me- plenty of fakies are cute! But her proportions are off and that doesn't work for me :/

I'm looking at SoSilver's picture and I'm looking at the one on Amazon and that picture is NOT representative of what SoSilver got. The one on Amazon looks like an original G1 (height, head size and leg width), and the one SoSilver got looks like a fakies you see on the horse aisles in stores.

This reminds me of the ceramic pony "scandal" of the early 2000s. Anyone else remember that?  Hamilton collections sent out these flyers in newspapers of these gorgeous MLP ceramic figurines they were going to make in a series...what we actually got were these hideously ugly acrylic ponies that looked nothing like what they'd previously advertised. They must have gotten enough complaints because they never released any after the second one.

I'm glad for the people that like what's come out, but honestly, to me, it looks like Little Brown took the easiest route out and went with a fakie and slapped Firefly's symbol on it.
