On the pic of the back of Twi.'s box it says "Attach the wings to your pony as shown"...


I'm honestly not excited about any character re-issues anymore, but colors are cool I guess. I'm waiting to see if a mini figure set will pop up under the Rainbow Power line containing that TAF style Dr. Whooves and DJ Pon-3 minis. They are the only thing that's popped up that looks like it'll belong to Rainbow Power that I'm interested in so far.

This is a tough one. . .

Pros: fun flutter-like gimmick
         Cheap-but-retro rainbow gimmick looks kinda maybe appealing on Twilight

Cons: Wings are pretty fugly
           No new characters
           Cadence's stupid rainbow hearts are ugly as sin on Cadence.

The more and more I see the same characters released the more I fear for the future... I understand hasbro wanting the mane characters from the show on the shelves, but they have to realize that most people don't want to buy duplicates of characters. I think yes they should keep the mane characters on the shelves but also add maybe a collectors line like star wars does, trust me kids and parents would still buy from those lines just as much as bronies and collectors. In fact I bet certain other characters from the show would sell better than the mane 6 as of now such as Big Macintosh, Bon Bon, Thunderlane, etc.

I am a parent and I will say that my children do not need 14 pinkie pies... which would be the number of pinkie pies they have. 10 are blind bags, but that this still truly excessive. 3 pinkies are identical brushables as near as I can tell.

My girls would LOVE Big Mac, Thunderlane, and Snowflake.... particularly Snowflake... they love him.

I have a feeling this 'rainbow power' thing may tie into the upcoming 'equestria games' story arc in season 3. I specualted the same thing over the crystal ponies back when they first appeared, and I was right!
