Something about 3.5s I just noticed

I was just reorganizing my G3s and 3.5s when I realized something about 3.5s that's pretty cool. I don't know how many of you noticed, but the G3.5 ponies all have different heights:

(from tallest to shortest)
Rainbow Dash>Star Song>Cheerilee>Scootaloo>Pinkie Pie>Sweetie Belle

Toola-Roola is left out of this because I don't have her, thus I do not know how tall she is compared to the others, but I just thought this 3.5 height thing was interesting, so I felt like sharing the info!

I thought there was a difference in them. I don't have any in my collection though.

I think it might of had something to do with they were different ages. At least, that's why Sweetie Belle was so tiny.

Yeah, I have the TAF versions of all of them and I noticed that, too ! I always thought it was such a nice touch ! And the fact that they have slightly different faces makes them all unique I also believe that Toola Roola is, in fact, the tallest of them all. Can't check as I don't have them with me, but I think she is the tallest.

I read about this a while ago, I've always thought it was a cool idea I'd love to see some photos of them all together if anyone's got any!

I'm not a fan of 3.5s, but I indeed like how they all have slightly different faces, and different heights also. My fave would have to be Scootaloo

I think its supposed to be an age thing as well.

But I also love that Hasbro did make an attempt to make each one a little bit different rather than just being different coloured carbon copies.

They were really the first gen to cash in on the 'each pony has their own distinct hair style' as well, which is one thing that makes the G4 Mane 6 so popular! G3.5's are pretty cool!

That was what they said when they came out with the ponies. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are the youngest so they were smallest. Also, along with hair and color, size is one of the easiest things to change when trying to give a character a "distinct" personality. G3.5 was all bout trying to create a set group of memorable characters. 

The way they did it reminded me of the popples and how they made the toys in all sorts of sizes as well.

I think G3.5 are under appreciated. They were on the right track but missed their mark on some aspects. Some are still pretty cute. I love Cherliee's pigtails.

That really interesting! I've only seen Scootaloo in person, so I can't compare them myself.
