Weird accessory variation? Just looking for info :)

Hey all, recently I traded with a new friend for a DnP hair clip... the ones with the tinsel and the hair. However, this one, which is most likely the clip that came with D.J, is a bit weird...

No tinsel. Not any hint of any tinsel being there ever. No broken tinsel way up in the clamp, the clamp is original, the hair is still bright pink, but just no tinsel at all. So... was this an accessory released somewhere else (like in later releases of it, maybe they had random extras?) or maybe they were released in the UK or Canada or somewhere with some no-tinsel accessories? I know it's not an "omg look at that rare variant accessory!" - but I'm mostly wondering if this is a fluke from the factory, or if they were made without tinsel. The only one I know of made without tinsel is the Pretty Ups Kitten and Teddy one but the colors are completely different...

All my other DnP clips have tinsel...

Awww.... disappointment! Oh well, thanks guys! At least I also collect Pretty Ups so, I still needed it, I was just really hoping it was for DJ. Thanks for the info!

It looks in awesome condition And it can be a pain to find it sometimes so at least you need it for its collection. Its easy to forget about the Pretty Ups sometimes.

So true, so true! I actually love the Seashore Pretty Ups though because of the fish barrettes, lol So I'm happy to have another piece to that set

Pretty ups is such an under rated set I think I only have one pretty up item, a shell hair comb barrette thingy....I need more though

One day I want to get them all MOC - Debra's book with them MOC always enticed me and I know they're not all that pricey MOC... I also need to take out my sets one day and decorate up some ponies, I mean, c'mon, that's what they're for right!! I am excited that it is so pink though, since it can fade, at least it has that going for it!

And to think, I was going to get some embroidery tinsel and add it in to make it DJs!
