So, wondering if y'all are making some alt. rehairs as extras, os just the 2-3 we were limited to?
I'd prefer not, so everyone gets basically an equal swap box. But! Regular ponies as extras sound fine to me! It's hard to price a rehair and the reason it's limited is to allow everyone enough time to bait hunt, order hair, and work. I am a fast worker, but not everyone might go at the same speed.
If Raindrop feels differently, we'll work out some rules for the extras :)
First photo update is approaching! Make sure you know which host to pm and you have something to show (materials, progress,)

That was the response from the previous page... Not sure if Raindrop ever said differently?

Scratches are fine with me. Like others have said most things are fine other than lots of cancer or super obvious marker marks, etc.

Said it perfectly! This is exactly how I feel.

Thanks Himmie - I was hoping Raindrop might've said for sure what she thinks on that, and I may have missed it but I guess not. I just have SO many ideas, lol... it'll be hard to pick which 2-3 go in the box!

Ponies are hairless and washed. One of them is really rusty inside, hope I can clean her well

Okay, have seen that one of the baits have scratches in her body(will be covered by mane) is that a problem for you partner?

Not a problem with me at all!  I really, do not mind at all whatsoever.  My favorite rehaired boy, Chief, has brown little "freckles" all over him, and I'm perfectly cool with it.  =]

I hope I'm not the partner of any of you who are like scrutinizing the pony condition... lol...

I'll just say this:

These are alternate rehair ponies aka bait ponies... I personally do not expect them to be perfect!
Sure I'd personally like to avoid having tons and tons of dark brown cancer dots all over the bait, or big huge black marker marks... but, little scratches, knicks, marker dots, chips, eye rubs, anything like that... they don't bother me. Heck, I won't be looking at their bodies, I'll be looking at their beautiful new hair!!

seconded!!

I agree with Eternia that rehairs can be difficult to price, especially since rehair candidates are sometimes less than perfect in other ways.

Having been involved in both previous rehair swaps I know that there is also sometimes a disappointing inequality in the swap boxes for some participants if not everyone follows swap guidelines uniformly.  On the other hand swaps can easily head out of control if some members start going overboard and everyone else feels as though they must follow suit even though they may only have budgeted enough money and time to meet the original swap requirements.  Swaps should be fun for everyone and not stressful!

I know rehairing can get addicting, but I think sticking to the original guidelines would be best.  If you really think your partner might enjoy a special extra, run it by myself or Eternia (whoever your report is for check-ins) privately.  Remember that your partner and others in the swap may have different preferences from you and we all joined the swap with a specified expectation as far as content/value :) .

As for my own preferences, I am okay with small imperfections and flaws.  I think I have noted already the things that I don't like.

I assume if we do 4 babies thats okay too? Since it seems like our math is 1 adult = 2 babies?

I'm excited--my second pony is done sunfading and is ready to rehair!  I've got one really stunning color picked out; now I just need to decide between the other colors I was considering pairing it with....
