Alternate Rehair Swap III

Two more bait arrived yesterday. I was going to rehair three on my partner's list and then decide but one of the baits has a nick in the display side wing. Just not sure if this would bug my partner too much so I probably won't use her, although her body color and symbols are gorgeous. Oh well...side note, still waiting for my hair order but got an email saying its been shipped.

One of my baits had a nick in her wing. If you use acetone on a cotton ball and rub the nick really hard it will smooth out the plastic some. If the nick isn't too bad it should make it look much better. Worked on mine!

I know it wouldn't bother me that much, I have some babies that have little chunks out of their feet or ear tips... esp. alt rehair/bait condition ponies, it's the thought that counts, the ponies do NOT have to be perfect in my eyes!

LOL no, it's ok.  I'm having a very foggy day today (I blame the fibro), and I could have been clearer about it, hehe.  xD  So sorry about that!  I didn't take it that way at all.  =] 

I usually can do 4 a night, if my needles don't break all over the place and I don't have any other disasters.  =P  But we'll see if I get any done.  Tonight's biggest priority is just getting my chipping nail polish off and reading a chapter in a book (or two).  I am kinda past the thinking part of my day (that flew out the window when my 14 year old brother was asking math questions I couldn't answer =P), but tomorrow I will definitely be working on them, lol. 

Most of the hair is not colors I would typically use, but they unintentionally match some of my customs.  I'm pretty pleased with that, and grateful to be out of a no hair slump, LOL!

As for the wing, I'd not be bothered by it!  Ponies don't have to be perfect (to me at least).  I kinda like them with a little character!

Thanks Sunshine and TGal for weighing in as well! I might go ahead and rehair her anyway as she is so so pretty! And can't believe you can do 4 a night. I've got carpel tunnel and my wrist is aching halfway through one! Amazing that you can do 4!!

That's only on a really good night.  I have fibromyalgia, so I don't always reach it to that point.  If I am feeling ok and my arms/hands aren't hurting, I can chug right through it all.  Otherwise, I do one or two and call it a night.

Ponies are hairless and washed. One of them is really rusty inside, hope I can clean her well

Okay, have seen that one of the baits have scratches in her body(will be covered by mane) is that a problem for you partner?

I hope I'm not the partner of any of you who are like scrutinizing the pony condition... lol...

I'll just say this:

These are alternate rehair ponies aka bait ponies... I personally do not expect them to be perfect!
Sure I'd personally like to avoid having tons and tons of dark brown cancer dots all over the bait, or big huge black marker marks... but, little scratches, knicks, marker dots, chips, eye rubs, anything like that... they don't bother me. Heck, I won't be looking at their bodies, I'll be looking at their beautiful new hair!!

I am fine with anything other than huge eye rubs or being completely covered in dark marks, that distract from the pony.

Symbol blemishes, small marks, a little bit of cancer, even small chews...all fine.

Scratches are fine with me. Like others have said most things are fine other than lots of cancer or super obvious marker marks, etc.

So did we ever get a final response from our wonderful hosts about sending more than 2-3 rehairs?

Are we only sending 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 babies or 3 babies? And nothing more rehaired for extras?

I just need to know for sure as I need to switch into "extras shopping mode" if that's the case... Otherwise I have a bait on the way that I want to rehair for my partner, and if I do that, I want to wait to decide which ponies are going into the box for them...
