How to clean vintage Fur Skin with tag?

I picked up a 1980's Furskin Wendy's promo. She had a little splotch on her ear which I tried to remove with my finger, and I ended up making the ear a bit worse with a grey smudge.  What's a good way to clean her?

So you can see what she is made of. She has her tag so I don't want to stick her in a washing machine.

Maybe try a baby wipe. Those are great for gently removing stains.

I'd just keep trying to handwash/spot treat the spot.  I don't think the washing machine would be good for these.  They are not super plushy and I'm afraid that parts of the bear might go a little limp with the washing machine.  That's just my thoughts about it.

I have used oxyclean and a moist towel to spot clean Wrinkles that still had their tags. It worked quite well.
