You're right! I checked strawberry reef, and sure enough, if Star Dreams is going to look like this now.... she's missing the pink stripe from her mane!

There's talk of the new Lyra Heartstrings and Dewdrop Dazzle playfuls being darker than the originals, so it seems like Hasbro is recreating older designs from scratch, not always 100% accurately, rather than resuming production of those designs after leaving off for a time.

Oooo I think Cheerilee is a variant too! The cutie mark is flipped and she appears to be a lighter pink than the 2010 release?  She also looks prideful like Mrs Cake! xD

I am loving this! Will definitely pick this up. I'm glad Hasbro is finally starting to release some new ponies! Well... Actually I guess none of them are really new, but you know what I mean. xD I could bait the doubles of the CMC and the rest I don't have, works nicely!

I'll be buying this set as well, since I missed out on Twist and Silver Spoon from Taobao.  For once, I'm actually ok with getting (more) doubles as I know my kids love playing with the baby ponies.

I really, really want this one. Cheerilee looks beautiful in this shade of pink and Twist-a-Loo is a must-have. I don't care about the printed necklace on Silver Spoon, though.

Any idea whether it's going to be an international release?

I will be getting this set, I only have Sweetie Belle and Cheerilee, so the rest are all new to me.
