I hope people realize that many of the posts here are starting to resemble the 23 PAGE thread on the MLP Fair thread area of the Arena...which is why the poll was created lol

also, assuming it stays the same weekend around july 4th, seattle is out b/c Everfree moved their date to that weekend

I'm still rooting for Rosemont, IL! They opened a new outlet mall with wonderful shops like Bloomingdales, BCBGMaxazria, Disney Store Outlet and Forever 21. The movie theater is right there and they opened up a bunch of nice restaurants last year. For those who like the casino, there's one close by that's really nice. It's a hoppin' town right now. It's a big business area as it is right next to O'Hare airport and there are a bunch of nice hotels right there too. I've been going to that area for 11 years and it's so nice! You don't have to drive from the airport either. You can hop on the blue line and it's the first stop from O'Hare and it only costs $2.25 each way. Much better than an expensive taxi ride.

Awesome!  Well I'm still hoping for the Pacific Northwest, barring that, the West, barring that, somewhere near a big airport to make costs less, (ie not Cleveland) and somewhere that is more of a vacation destination so my wife will be willing to come.

It's cool, Roogna!   We are excited and want to talk about the Fair.  People are taking the poll for the Fair Staff and discussing it here for their own enjoyment.  I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

I'd possibly go if it was East Coast or Mid East. Ohio sounds good to me. I'd be traveling from Puerto Rico, and really the problem for me is the plane tickets.

Also..aye...if Vegas can be avoided, do so. While I had a good experience with cheap hotel bills. The Vegas environment just doesn't mesh well with the Pony Convention scene. It's not as kid friendly. And that's one of the many things that played against Las Pegasus Unicon.

As to July 4th, I personally don't mind the date. That's one of the dates my trip for BronyCon Summer 2012 covered. And it wasn't a problem for me.

O_o; Not sure why you think the location caused it to somehow flop, LOL!
