Do you ever wish they made more toys based off of the G1 shows?

I absolutely adore some of the characters on the MLP shows from the 80s, furbobs, the witches (especially Draggle!), Porcina, and thats only the first couple of episodes!

I am planning to sculpt some from an air dry clay pretty soon, I'm not sure if I'll do show accurate hair or make it brushable. I might -attempt- flocking the Furbobs.

I just have so much love for the G1 show, to the point where I'm beginning to prefer it over FiM! And I wish they'd made more toys so I could reflect that love into my herd!

Note: If I do end up making the toys I might sell some, but they'll be awful so I doubt you'll want them!

I think it would be awesome if Hasbro made a G1 vintage line in G1 style, but G4 scale, along side the G4 line.

Sort of like they did with Star Wars and Gi Joe, so the original collectors turned off by the G4 brony influence can still have something to look forward to.

Also, I wish they would try comic 2 packs.

I've seen custom action figures of Tireck, but that's about it.
I think it would be really nice to have at least mini figures of the other characters and villains!

I wish they'd acknowledge G1 fiction at all.  It's continuity might have been considerably looser than Transformers and G.I. Joe, but it still had recurring characters and it'd be especially cool to see some of the "gaps" get filled in with material from the UK comic (which offered origins for things like the baby sea ponies, twinkle eye ponies, etc.) Unfortunately, Lauren Faust seems to have been the only person involved with the current brand even familiar with G1.

Or any previous generation to be honest.  I notice that in Season 1 and 2 (when Lauren was still there) there were callbacks to the previous generations, yet in Season 3 (when Lauren was gone) they stopped.

I always wanted more bushwoolies other than the ones that came with the princesses. Just don't give them the rainbow arm bands that they did in the later cartoon series. They look WEIRD!

It was actually only a couple of the Bushwoolies that had the rainbow armbands, some of them had normal fluffy arms.

I have to agree with more villains. Posable human ones. Strawberry shortcake had awesome villain figures!

I would LOVE to see these made into toys! ^^ And yes, I'd love to see any aknowledgement of the G1 fiction's existance, but you all already know that.

That would be really fun! I actually made smooze from purple hair gel and 'a magic ingredient' and kneaded in some googly eyes and clay mouths. Looks just like the real thing x3! It was really easy!

And I would imagine making a Draggle would be easy enough if you can customize dolls, but Hidea and Draggles sister (forgot her name) would be more difficult because of their weird proportions.
