Ditto!  I am head over heals in love with these.  I don't care how much it costs, I absolutely have to have the glittery versions too.  I'm sure I'll have to get the on eBay.  I never see them at the Hot Topic.  Do the stores actually put the chase versions out or do employees buy them up as soon as they arrive and sell them online?  If I really thought I'd have a chance of finding the chase versions at Hot Topic I'd make it a point to go there every few days on the way home from work.

Actually, I think that would be kind of cool.  Then with a little sanding to get the glue off, you could have a non-alicorn Twilight too.

Btw some stores get them some don't it's just like ordering online it's random, I have found a few at stores myself.

They do indeed. .___.; It's less noticeable with the translucent version, I think, but very glaring with the normal version. Also, I wonder why the stripes in her hair are swapped. Usually they're on the other side.

They release next month at PopCultcha (who still don't have product pics lol), so excited! I hope there are no delays. 
Not overly impressed with Twilight's wings, they look very bulky, and I hope I just get two regulars (glitter, do not want).

Popcultcha is getting them from Hot Topic then probably.

I'm not sure, how Popcultcha is getting them (or some other items for that matter), but they did have POP! Pony & DJ Pon-3 available couple of weeks before Hot Topic and also they had Metallic Toywiz exclusive POP! ponies available a month before Toywiz themselves.

I've never personally seen any glitter variants in a Hot Topic in my area, but some people here on the Arena have reported finding them on the shelves at Hot Topic and buying them (quick!). So yeah, it is /possible/ for you to find them, but personally I think it would be more likely the employees would realize they're valuable and try to save them for themselves.
