She is back in stock and has been for a couple of days.

Considering the limited numbers of previous exclusive items for the Fair and Comic Con, I find it amazing she is still so easy to pick up.

I cant decide if she was just super unpopular and too expensive or if Hasbro have produced her in terrifying numbers?

They may have been preparing because of the fiasco that happened the last time they did a popular FiM character. I guess this just proves that DJ is not quite as popular as She Who Must Not Be Named.

I wondered the same thing! :O WHY Hasbro!? If they plan on making Octavia or the Doctor next year, I hope they make it a brushable and they have plenty of those like they do DJ!

What?? That is the silkiest sold plastic hair I have ever seen.

I'm still glad I sold my pre-purchased one at the Fair. I don't think she was as popular as Hasbro expected. It could be the price, lack of brushable hair, or anything really. I hope that Hasbro returns to a more traditional "pony toy" style exclusive next year since this "collectible figure" style doesn't seem to be doing as well.

I just can't imagine that she wouldn't be popular, though... though I am a bit confused as to why she's not brushable. She just looks like a regular Funko toy, to me. Actually, now that I think about it, I wonder if she wasn't super popular because other people thought she was just a Funko, or one of those TRU exclusives, and didn't realize she was the Comic Con Exclusive pony...? Maybe she just doesn't look special enough?

Yes I will admit it gives me secret hope that if she was a flop they will rethink next years plans! Does that make me a bad person?

I think if they didn't have glitter and swarovski crystals on her, she would have sold better. It just made her unnecessarily expensive. Swarvoski crystals are over-priced. Plus, I thought it all made her tacky, which, combined with the price, is why I passed on her. If they hadn't bedazzled her and gave her rooted hair, I would have gladly bought her. I really hope they go back to a $20 brushable FS pony next year. I'd love it if they'd do 2 ponies again, though, even if they were both G4s. They could do a character from FiM for SDCC and a G1 or G3 character as a G4 fashion style for the fair. I think it would be awesome to have a G4 FS of Firefly or G3 Minty.

I think they tried to please everyone and missed the mark with everyone.  By which I mean, people say to themselves, "I like her except for the....  _________" and whatever that is, they decide not to buy her. 

I am sure with enough time, she will hold a reasonable value as an exclusive to a convention, but not right now.

I don't think Firefly will every happen since I don't think they have the copyright for her anymore, but a G4 FS Minty would be sooooo great! That would make me so much more excited than this DJ Pon-3 pony did.
